Summer bank holiday plans at One New Change
Looking for some plans this summer bank holiday? One New Change has it all, no matter the weather. Think outdoor dining in the sun, or indoor entertainment if the rain makes an appearance!
Hit the shops
A day off work means one thing – some retail therapy. Head to Zara or Mango to pick up the latest trends for a last-minute summer holiday, refreshing your wardrobe for the office, or preparing to go back to university. Sweaty Betty is great for high-quality, comfortable workout gear and lounge wear, and Oliver Bonas has gifts and trinkets for yourself or your loved ones.
If you want to add some self-care into your day and find time for the things you usually can’t fit into the working week, Ted’s Grooming Room, Strip, and Townhouse are located in One New Change. Ted’s Grooming Room offers haircuts, beard treatments, and more men’s grooming treatments including facials and eyebrow trimming. Perfect for a moment to yourself! Strip offers a huge range of waxing and laser treatments, performed by specialist stylists to give a luxurious and virtually pain-free appointment.
If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to get your nails done, now’s your chance! Head to Townhouse for a stylish gel manicure. The salon can do amazing nail art, or keep it simple with a clean French manicure.
Grab a bite to eat
You’ll be spoilt for choice at One New Change. Grab a bite and go with a tasty M&S sandwich or a filling Urban Greens salad bowl, or sit back and relax with a Nando’s. Make the bank holiday extra special with a visit to The Ivy Asia or Bread Street Kitchen for a dining experience worth every penny.
Gordon Ramsay fans can also visit his other restaurants, Street Pizza and Street Burger. Enjoy bottomless pizza for £20 or impressive signature burgers and fries from £18.
For a meal with a view, head up to the rooftop terrace at Madison. Enjoy two courses for £46 or three for £52 while taking in the spectacular cityscape featuring St Paul’s Cathedral.
Enjoy a cocktail
We’ve got a cocktail for every taste at our bars and restaurants. If you need some inspiration, take a look at our favourite cocktail bars near St Paul’s. Some highlights include the unique Black Cow vodka from Bread Street Kitchen, and the Aperol spritz menu at Madison.
Take a spin at the F1 Arcade
If poor weather looks like it’ll spoil your outdoor plans, why not take a spin in an F1 car while staying dry indoors? At F1 Arcade you can take control of a full-motion simulator and experience the thrill of F1. Guests must be at least 7 years old to race, and under 18s are welcome every day until 6pm.
See the sights
If you’ve never seen the impressive St Paul’s Cathedral up close, now’s your chance. Guided tours take place every day, or you can explore the building yourself with the help of the multimedia guides.
Visit the famed Whispering Gallery, a circular promenade 30 metres above the ground in the base of the dome. Its unique design means even the quietest whisper will be carried along the curved wall, and can be heard all the way at the opposite side. If you’re feeling up to it, climb the 528 steps to the top of the dome where you’ll find spectacular views across London!
