Having missed out on so much over the past year, we're all ready for some bright, bold fun.
To help you get back up to speed, we've assembled our top summer beauty trends and tips to prepare yourself for the good times ahead.
1. Healthy, glowy skin
After 18 months of (what feels like) sitting indoors, everyone is loving the feeling of having bright, healthy skin glowing with health!
You can achieve with regular soothing face massages, using chilled jade rollers and moisturising creams, and by protecting your skin from the sun with foundations containing SPF protection.
For an instant glow, try a hydrating serum, or a shot of liquid highlighter on those cheekbones.
2. Natural ingredients
Plant-based options may be revolutionising our meals, but beauty is also embracing natural methods to help us feel more at one with the earth.
Look out for vegan moisturisers and body lotions that pack in natural ingredients like rhubarb, rose and vanilla, or shampoos bursting with ginger or black tea.
3. Brushed up brow

Big in 2020 as we all let our eyebrows grow wild, the brushed up brow is still here for the summer. If you're not keen on lamination, use brow fixer or brow soap to get this much loved strong brow look!
Or try a hybrid look for 2021 by softening your brushed up brows with an eye pencil or filler, especially if your eyebrows aren't naturally bushy or dark.
4. Bold lips
Despite restrictions lifting, many of us are still opting to wear face masks, which is why a long-lasting lip colour is a must: bold lips are in.
If your usual matte lipstick won't cut it, try a lip stain or oil for all-day bright lips that will last well into the evening.
And while nudes and pastels are certainly on trend, we'll all be making up for lost time and opting for bright, bold colours all summer!
5. A big change up top

Everyone’s keen to leave the pandemic in the past, and that’s reflected in 2021’s big summer hair trends. We’re all thinking about the ‘new me’ that can march boldly back into the world!
Some of the styles you might want to think about could be going all out with a ‘big chop’, trying out a swooping bob, or even embracing retro mullets or shag cuts that are back in a big way.
